why pilates?
Joseph Pilates created his exercise system around six key principles: centering, control, concentration, precision, breath and flow. Practicing with these principles in mind, you will experience improved strength, flexibility, balance, endurance, control, energy, alignment and awareness; which no other exercise system can offer.
how does it work?
The exercises promote a strong core, from which all movement is initiated. But, strength is only the foundation. You must also balance the strength with flexibility.
